Hoffman LRF Hexapod Strut, Extra Short 131mm-191mm, Model Number 4935-0-030. Product Usage - The Hoffmann LRF System is indicated in pediatric patients and adults for the treatment and fixation of: Open and closed fractures Post-traumatic joint contracture which has resulted in loss of range of motion Fractures and disease which generally may result in joint contractures or loss of range of motion and fractures requiring distraction Pseudoarthrosis or non-union of long bones Limb lengthening by epiphyseal, diaphyseal, or metaphyseal distraction Correction of bony or soft tissue deformity Correction of segmental bony or soft tissue defects Joint arthrodesis Management of communicated intra-articular fractures of the distal radius Bone transport The Hoffmann LRF System is indicated in adults for: Osteotomy Revision procedure where other treatments or devices have been unsuccessful Bone reconstruction procedures Fusions and replantations of the foot Charcot foot reconstruction Lisfranc dislocations The typical LRF construct features two or more rings bridged by three to four telescopic struts with multiplanar, ball jointed fixation bolts. Once applied, the LRF can be unlocked for gross frame adjustment and fracture reduction. The LRF can be finely adjusted to aid in limb alignment and definitively locked to hold compression and reduction. If deemed appropriate, the LRF Telescopic Struts can provide up to 5mm of controlled dynamization. Original Statement OP-Tech H-ST-1_Rev2_HoffmannLRF_OpTech_2016-10690]

Hoffman LRF Telescopic Strut Short Stryker Stryker Trauma AG CH-2545 Seizach Distributed in the USA by Howmedica Osteonics Corp. 325 Corporate Drive Mahwah, NJ 07430. The use of external devices provides the surgeon with a means of bone fixation for the management of fracture and reconstructive surgery. These devices are intended only to assist healing and are not intended to replace normal bone structures. External fixation devices are intended to hold fractured bone surfaces in apposition to facilitate normal healing. While proven successful, the devices are manufactured from metal, plastic, and composite materials. No such fracture fixation device, subject to fatigue, can be expected to withstand activity levels in the same way as would a normal health bone. The external fixation system, therefore, will not be as strong, reliable or durable as a normal human bone.

CONTAK RENEWAL 3 RF (models H210, H215), CONTAK RENEWAL 3 RF HE (models H217, H219), CONTAK RENEWAL 4 RF (models H230, H235) CONTAK RENEWAL 4 RF HE (model H239) cardiac resynchronization therapy defibrillator (CRT-D), provide ventricular tachyarrhythmia and cardiac resynchronization therapies. Ventricular tachyarrhythmia therapy is for the treatment of ventricualar tachycardia (VT) and ventricular fibrillation (VF), rhythms that are associated with suden cardiac death (SCD). Cardiac resynchronization therapy is for the treatment of heart failure (HF) and uses biventricular electrical stimulation to synchronize ventricular contractions. The device also uses accelerometer-based adaptive-rate bradycardia therapy. These CONTAK RENEWAL RF devices feature enhanced telemetry communication with wandless ZIP telemetry. Cardioversion/defibrillation therapies include a range of low- and high-energy shocks using either a biphasic or monophasic waveform.
