Standard anty-D jest odczynnikiem sporządzonym z osocza pochodzącego od immunizowanych dawców krwi. Zawiera przeciwciała anty-D klasy IgG o wystandaryzowanym stężeniu zgodnym z zaleceniami UE oraz Instytutu Hematologii i Transfuzjologii w Warszawie, nie wyższym niż 0,02 µg/ml (0,1 IU/ml). Prawidłowo uwidocznione reakcje przeciwciał anty-D z krwinkami wzorcowymi ORhD+ oraz ujemne reakcje z krwinkami ORhD-, stanowią kontrolę poprawności wykonania testu antyglobulinowego i testu enzymatycznego.
