OUR DISTRIBUTOR FOR THE DEVICE, ROCHE DIAGNOSTICS, HAS INVESTIGATED THIS EVENT AND HAS EVALUATED THE INSTRUMENT. THE INSTRUMENT WAS FOUND TO HAVE A BURNED OUT CONTROLLER BOARD FOR THE BARCODE SCANNER. THE INSTRUMENT HAS BEEN REPAIRED AND RETURNED TO SERVICE.
