REPORTEDLY, THE SURGEON NOTICED THAT A PART OF THE INSTRUMENT WAS MISSING WHEN HE REMOVED IT. HE THEN WENT BACK IN WITH A SCOPE AND FOUND THE TRANSLUCENT PIECE AND IT WAS REMOVED. THERE WAS NO INJURY TO THE PATIENT. PROCEDURE: HYSTERECTOMY.
