GREATER IMPROVEMENT IN LRRK2 G2019S PATIENTS UNDERGOING SUBTHALAMIC NUCLEUS DEEP BRAIN STIMULATION COMPARED TO NON-MUTATION CARRIERS. BMC NEUROSCIENCE. 2016. 17(1):6.10.1186/S12868-016-0240-4 SUMMARY: BILATERAL SUBTHALAMIC NUCLEUS DEEP BRAIN STIMULATION (STN-DBS) OF PARKINSON¿S DISEASE (PD) PATIENTS HAS DEMONSTRATED TO IMPROVE MOTOR PERFORMANCE AND TO REDUCE DOPA-INDUCED DYSKINESIA. IT WAS NOT POSSIBLE TO ASCERTAIN SPECIFIC DEVICE INFORMATION FROM THE ARTICLE OR TO MATCH THE REPORTED EVENT WITH ANY PREVIOUSLY REPORTED EVENT.
