FAILURE ANALYSIS REVEALED THAT THE INSULIN PUMP ALARMED MOTOR ERROR DURING THE BASIC OCCLUSION TEST AS A RESULT, AND THE DEVICE WAS UNABLE TO PRIME DURING THE PRIME TEST AS A RESULT OF A LOOSE DRIVE SUPPORT DISK.

THE CUSTOMER'S MOTHER REPORTED THAT THE INSULIN PUMP HAD AN ERROR ALARM DURING THE MANUAL PRIME PROCESS. ADVISED THE CALLER TO REVERT TO BACK UP PLAN. THE CUSTOMER'S BLOOD GLUCOSE READING WAS 466MG/DL. NO FURTHER INFORMATION WAS PROVIDED.
