THE ARTICLE COMPARES TWO MALDI-TOF COMMERCIAL METHODS , AUTOF MS 1000 AND VITEK MS KB V3.0 FOR THE IDENTIFICATION OF 1,228 YEASTS. FRONTIERS IN CELLULAR AND INFECTION MICROBIOLOGY . 2021 , YI QIAOLIAN,ET AL. ". THEN, ISOLATES WERE TESTED ACCORDING TO INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE OF THE MALDI TOF METHODS. ALL ISOLATES WERE IDENTIFIED BY DNA SEQUENCING OF THE INTERNAL TRANSCRIBED SPACER (ITS) REGION, WHICH WAS CONSIDERED THE REFERENCE METHOD. SIXTY-THREE (63) STRAINS WERE REPORTED AS MISIDENTIFIED BY THE VITEK MS; HOWEVER, DETAILS OF THE RESULTS WERE PROVIDED FOR ONLY 62 STRAINS..
