SEMICAL® Anti-adhesion Gel is a sterile, transparent, and thick gel with a dense consistency. Its active ingredient consists of cross-linked hyaluronan (HA) molecules derived from a non-animal source. HA is a primary component found in human connective tissue, as well as epithelial and mesothelial tissues. The purpose of SEMICAL® Anti-adhesion Gel is to minimize or prevent adhesions following surgical procedures.
