This kit is used for in vitro quantitative detection of free triiodothyronine (FT3) in human serum and (or) plasma. Triiodothyronine (T3) is a kind of thyroid hormones that regulate metabolism of body. Testing the content of these hormones is of great significance for identifying and diagnosing thyroid function, hyperthyroidism and thyroid hypofunction. Most T3 binds to transportprotein (thyroid binding globulin, prealbumin and albumin). Free triiodothyronine (FT3) is a physiological activity form of T3. Determination of FT3 is not affected by the concentration of binding protein and change of binding property, so it is unnecessary to test some binding parameters theoretically
