INTENDED PURPOSE / INTENDED USE For in vitro diagnostic use in the quantitative determination of the cholinesterase (EC 3.1.1.8; SChE) activity in human serum and plasma with the automated procedures of Thermo Scientificโข Indikoโข and Konelabโข analyzers. The Cholinesterase test is indicated to be used in conjunction with clinical evaluation for aid to diagnosis and monitoring of organophosphorus insecticide poisoning, in patients. Furthermore, the Cholinesterase test is indicated to be used in conjunction with clinical evaluation for aid to diagnosis of diseases related to inherited atypical forms of the enzyme and low levels of cholinesterase activity, in patients.
