Additional Description
Total Knee Joint Prostheses are artificial joints designed for painless articular movements of eroded articular surfaces and are made from metal and polyethylene coated with special parts. Since it can be used in situations that posterior cruciate ligament is retained (C-R) or cut (P-S), it is classified as semi-constrained in the fixed Knee Prostheses group. It consists of 4 basic components as the Femoral components, patellar component, Tibial component and the tibial insert. Metal components are suitable for cemented and uncemented (HA, Dual, Porous coated) applications.
