MOTIMOVE-8 is used for functional electrical stimulation (FES), an established method of electrotherapy that can provide goal-oriented functional movements in impaired extremities due to diseases and accidents. MOTIMOVE -8can produce contractions in completely paralyzed innervated muscles. If the muscles are denervated MOTIMOVE-8 will not generate contractions.
