Der ansteckbare, beheizbare Anfeuchter „AquaTREND III-NG“ dient der Anfeuchtung des Therapieluftstromes, welcher dem Patienten durch das Atemtherapiegerät zugeführt wird. Ein Austrocknen der Schleimhäute wird dadurch verhindert. Er ist nur in Verbindung mit der Geräteserie „TREND III“ zu nutzen. Der Anfeuchter wird für die medizinische Versorgung in häuslicher Umgebung und professionelle Einrichtungen zur Gesundheitsfürsorge eingesetzt. Das Anfeuchterwasser darf keine Zusätze wie Medikamente, Salze, Aroma-Öle oder andere Substanzen enthalten.
