The non absorbable surgical sutures are consist of the surgical needle (without needle) and the non absorbable thread.It is a non-absorbable sterile surgical suture consisting of an organic protein called silk fibroin. The protein is derived from Bombyx mori (B. mori), a silkworm of the family Bombycidae. The suture is dyed black, coated with a special wax mixture, and also has a natural color. Native silk sutures can be used in which the sericin protein is not removed and used to hold the filaments together.[EN]
