This product is used to qualitatively test the influenza A virus antigen in human oropharyngeal swab. Influenza A is an acute respiratory infectious disease caused by its pathogen-a new type of Influenza A virus that spreads among the people. Unlike previous or current seasonal influenza viruses, this virus contains gene segments from three influenza viruses-swine flu, bird flu and human influenza. Mankind is generally susceptible to influenza A virus, and the infection could spread from person to person. The early symptoms of influenza A are similar to that of general influenza, including fever, cough, sore throat, body ache, headache, chill and fatigue, and some people also may experience diarrhea or vomiting, myalgia or exhaustion, or red eyes. This product could be used as an auxiliary tool for the diagnosis of patient infected by influenza A virus.
