In cannulated screws used alone, it is used to increase the bone contact area of the screw and to prevent the screw from sinking into the bone when used angled. There are 3 length options available in Ø3.5 - Ø4.5 and Ø7.3 mm diameters. It is produced from Ti 6Al4V ELI material. Screw ferrules are offered for sale as non-sterile. There are 3 length options, Ø3 mm diameter and 40, 45, 50 mm. Transfixed screws are supplied sterile. Sterilization is of two types, gamma and ethylene oxide.
