INTENDED PURPOSE / INTENDED USEโ: For in vitro diagnostic use in the quantitative determination of triglycerides concentration in human serum and plasma with the automated procedures of Thermo Scientificโข Indikoโข and Konelabโข analyzers. The Triglycerides test is indicated to be used in conjunction with clinical evaluation for aid to diagnosis and monitoring of diseases with hyperlipidemia and hypertriglyceridemia, which is an independent risk factor for coronary heart disease, in patients. Furthermore, the Triglycerides test is indicated to be used in conjunction with clinical evaluation for aid to diagnosis and monitoring of secondary hypertriglyceridemia, which occurs in diseases of several organs such as hepatopathy, nephropathy, hypothyroidism and pancreatitis, in patients.
