The intended use of the Terason ultrasound systems is to provide high-quality gray-scale (B-mode), (color and power) Doppler ultrasound images to facilitate clinical/medical diagnoses. In addition, the Terason uSmart3300 system also offers the non-imaging continuous-wave Doppler (CWD) that provides audible feedback of blood flow. The Terason systems use a variety of probes that are application dependent.
