Mouthguard for fixing the orotracheal tube during general anesthesia and intensive care procedures. Tubeguard protects the orotracheal tube providing intact internal clearance at patient's bite area. It is attached to the orotracheal tube before intubation. When tube is correctly positioned Tubeguard is moved down such way that the distal end is below teeth, whereas the upper part is in the side of mouth. The internal structure of Tubeguard prevents tube from sliding. Small size of Tubeguard facilitates oral hygiene and reduces patient’s discomfort. After the procedure orotracheal tube is removed together with Tubeguard. It has been developed and tested in collaboration with leading experts in anesthesia and intensive care and it is considered one of the best methods of fixing orotracheal tube during intubation. Additionally it prevents sores.
