Shockwave physiotherapy unit Impactis M+ is an active, non-invasive therapeutic device. Impactis M+ is a generator of high amplitude acoustic pulses generated by a precise ballistic system in a special applicator. Acoustic pulses are created by a projectile hitting (driven by compressed air) a transmitter, as a result of which the kinetic energy of the projectile is converted into acoustic energy. The resulting pressure impulses are delivered through direct contact method with intact skin and propagate radially in the skin and in deeper tissues. Parts of the body intended for treatments with Impactis M+ are back, upper limbs (shoulder, arm, forearm, hand) and lower limbs (hip, thigh, shank, foot) for interaction with body tissues such as muscle, skeletal, nervous, circulatory and lymphatic system and/or skin.
