Additional Description
The ABLE Exoskeleton is a wearable powered lower-limb exoskeleton that actively assists individuals with spinal cord injury to stand up, walk and sit down. The ABLE Exoskeleton device consists of three major components: (1) the exoskeleton mechatronic structure and its embedded software, (2) the remote controller and its embedded software and (3) the ABLE Care app, residing in an android smartphone. It is used in combination with a compatible walking aid and an android smartphone to run the ABLE Care app.
