SeQureTM Snare System, including General Snare System, Petite Snare System and Micro Snare System according to different loop sizes and the length of the snare, consists of a snare, a snare catheter, a snare loader and a torquer. The snare is constructed of a nitinol shaft and a loop, and they are connected together on the tapered section of the nitinol shaft by the shrinking compression force of PTFE heat shrink tubing. The loop is made of braided nitinol wires coiled with a Titanium Nitride coated tungsten wire to enhance radiopaque. The plane of the loop is perpendicular to the nitinol shaft. The pre-formed snare loop can be introduced through catheter without risk of deformation because of shape memory and super-elastic properties of nitinol. The snare catheter made of PE tubing and luer connector has a radiopaque markband at its distal tip to enhance the visibility during the operation. The snare is pre-assembled with the snare loader and the torquer, and then packaged with corresponding catheter.
