Additional Description
This product is intended for use of in vitro qualitative testing of EB Virus Nuclear Antigen 1 (NA1) IgA antibody in human serum. EB Virus is a γ herpesvirus of human B lymphocyte that mainly invades B lymphocytes, with an affinity for human B-lymphocytes, epithelial cells (including parotid ducts, pharynx, and cervix), and glandular cells. Current research has found that EB Virus infection is associated with a variety of human tumors such as nasopharynx cancer and lymphatic cancers. NA1 (Nuclear Antigen 1) is the nuclear antigen of EBV that can be detected in the nucleus of all EBV-infected and transformed B cells. The test results are for clinical reference only and cannot be used alone as a basis for confirming or excluding cases.
