Transparent strips are matrices which help contour restorative materials to match natural dentition. They are primarily intended for light-cured composite on anterior tooth. Transparency of the product ensures polymerization for light cure or self-cure composites. In addition, transparent strips are made of strong plastic with tensile strength and flexibility ensuring the band to be drawn tightly and snugly around the tooth, giving good marginal adaptation. Transparent strips are available in a wide range of dimensions as pre-cut bands (straight or curved, variable thickness (75µm thin or 50µm x-thin), variable length (70mm, 100mm or 140mm), variable width (6mm, 8mm or 10mm)).
