Additional Description
"The kit is intended for in vitro quantitative determination of the activity of adenosine deaminase (ADA) in human serum and is mainly used in the auxiliary diagnosis of liver injury clinically. ADA is an important enzyme in purine nucleoside metabolism in the group of sulfhydryl enzymes, containing at least 2 active sulfhydryl groups per molecule, and is widely distributed in human tissue. ADAs in serum mainly come from the liver and are cytosolic enzymes of hepatocytes. Damage, necrosis, and increased membrane permeability of hepatocytes all increase ADA activity in serum."
