Sexually transmitted diseases (STDs) are a group of infectious diseases caused by pathogens (bacteria, virus, parasite), which transmission from person to person through sexual activity and intimate contact. STDs not only cause infection of the genitourinary tract in men and women, causing urethral stenosis and difficulty urinating, but also pelvic inflammatory disease and bacteremia (in severe cases), causing arthritis, endocarditis, skin damage and infertility. Neisseria gonorrhoeae (NG), Chlamydia trachomatis (CT) and Ureaplasma urealyticum (UU) infection have become the main pathogens of STD. This product is suitable for clinically assisted diagnosis of infection of the above three pathogens. Samples can be obtained from the urogenital swab and cervical scrapes.The kit is intended for the in-vitro qualitative detection of nucleic acids of Neisseria gonorrhoeae, Chlamydia trachomatis and Ureaplasma urealyticum.
