A-scan is intended to measure the axial length of an eye and for IOL power calculation. Axial length is defined as the distance between the anterior surface of the cornea and the anterior surface of the retina. The axial length of the eye is expressed in millimeters. B-Scan is intended to diagnose the Posterior segment of the eye. It produces a two dimensional, Cross-Sectional view of the eye and the Orbit. UBM is intended to diagnose anterior segment of the eye; it produces a Two-dimensional, Cross-sectional view to diagnose Iris cyst, tumor and Lens Position
