1. Wearing gloves, mount a scanner tip on the scanner. 2. Remove the sleeve from the paper. 3. Pull the sleeve on the scanner to cover the scanner body. The scanner tip will not be covered entirely by the sleeve. 4. Make sure that the sleeve marking is aligned with the scanner buttons. Then remove the tape liner and fixate the sleeve onto the scanner. 5. The scanner is now ready to use. 6. After scanning is completed, remove the sleeve and dispose according to standard operating procedures or local regulations for disposal of contaminated medical waste.
