Additional Description
For the quantitative in vitro determination of acreatine kinase MB isoenzyme (CK-MB ) concentration in human serum. CK-MB is an isoenzyme of creatine kinase (CK), which mainly exists in myocardial tissue and also has a trace distribution in skeletal muscle. Its structure is composed of two subunits, the muscle subunit (M) and the brain subunit (B), and the content accounts for about 20% of the total content of CK in the myocardium. In addition to CK-MB, CK also includes two isoenzymes, CK-MM and CK-BB, according to different subunit compositions. CK-MM mainly exists in skeletal muscle, and CK-BB mainly exists in brain tissue. CK-MB is an important indicator for the early diagnosis of myocardial diseases, and has received extensive attention in recent years, especially in the diagnosis of acute myocardial infarction, with high sensitivity and specificity, which has important clinical significance.
