For the quantitative in vitro determination of acreatine kinase MB isoenzyme (CK-MB ) concentration in human serum. CK-MB is an isoenzyme of creatine kinase (CK), which mainly exists in myocardial tissue and also has a trace distribution in skeletal muscle. Its structure is composed of two subunits, the muscle subunit (M) and the brain subunit (B), and the content accounts for about 20% of the total content of CK in the myocardium. In addition to CK-MB, CK also includes two isoenzymes, CK-MM and CK-BB, according to different subunit compositions. CK-MM mainly exists in skeletal muscle, and CK-BB mainly exists in brain tissue.
