The FREND hsCRP is afluorescence immunoassay (FIA) for use with the FREND System. It is designed for the quantitative detection of the human C-reactive protein in human serum which may help in the evaluation of infection, tissue injury, inflammatory disorders and associated disease. It may also aid in the identification of individuals at risk for future cardiovascular disease. In conjunction with traditional evaluation method. FREND hsCRP may be useful as a prognostic marker for stable coronary disease or acute coronary syndromes.
