Treatment of eye injuries, Eye pads are used for treating childhood strabismus and amblyopia. Worn over the preferred eye, the eye patch encourages the weaker eye to function. Used for post-operative eye care. Alban eye pads have 2 sizes available. ( 6,5cmx9,5cm, 5,7cmx7,2cm ) Sizes vary depending on the size of your eyes. According to 93/42/EEC directive Annex-IX Rule IV Classification Rule; they are all non-invasive devices that come into contact with injured skin and fall into Class I as they are used as a mechanical barrier for absorption or suppression of secretions. Classification on the basis of time; short-term - medical devices intended for continuous use of less than 30 days.
