IGS Instant Grip Socks minimize the risk of slipping on dry or wet floor surfaces. They protect the patient and reduce the effort required to move, whether the patient is moving alone or is assisted in the transfer. Reliable grip lowers the threshold to move, maintains self-confidence and speeds up rehabilitation. Owing to the breathable material, the grip sock also functions in bed: the power of the legs can be utilized in changing position in bed, in assisting nurses in care procedures and in safe rehabilitation. The socks have a great fit on the foot both on bare feet as well as on top of other socks. Due to the unbreakable structure it is possible to cut openings into the sock where required, for example at areas of oedema, ulcers or stitches. They are suitable for use both day and night.
