Additional Description
This kit is used for in vitro quantitative detection of the concentration of Morphine (MOP)/ Methamphetamine (MET)/ Ketamine (KET) content in hair samples. It can be used for detection and evaluation of major drug suspects, community drug addicts and special high-risk industry personnel. This product is only used for the preliminary screening experiment of Morphine / Methamphetamine / Ketamine. For further confirmation or get the exact concentration of the sample, you need more sensitive and specific detection methods, such as:gas chromatography/mass spectrometry (GC/MS), and Liquid chromatography-tandem mass spectrometry (LC-MS/MS). Generally, after taking drugs for 7 days, the drugs in blood and urine are basically metabolized clean, but drug components can still be detected in hair. The average productivity of hair is 1.1 cm (0.8 to 1.4 cm) per month, and drug components can exist stably in hair for a long time (several years), not only in head hair, but also in leg hair, pubic hair, and armpit hair. Using high sensitivity detection reagent (the detection limit of this kit is 0.2 ng/mg) can detect the content of Morphine (MOP)/ Methamphetamine (MET)/ Ketamine (KET) in human hair samples. The identification conclusion of whether the hair contains toxic components and the time period of drug abuse can also be issued according to the length and sampling position of the collected hair. At the same time, it suggests the degree of drug abuse, and judges the single-drug use and long-term drug use.
