The hinge is specialised for the manufacture of an ankle foot orthosis and/or a knee ankle foot orthosis, with an application under the shoe, in patients suffering from : stroke, spinal cord injury, myasthenia gravis - myopathy and any other condition that causes drop foot. The construction of the whole product (afo or kafo) must always be done by specialized orthotists, according to the plaster model and the somatometric dimensions of each user and must be accompanied by a relevant medical opinion. The aim and purpose is to elevate the patient's foot.
