Additional Description
For the quantitative in vitro determination of N-Acetyl-β-D-Glucosaminidase activity in urine or serum. N-Acetyl-β-D-Glucosaminidase(MPT Method) is a lysosomal enzyme involved in the breakdown metabolism of glycoproteins. It's reported that increased NAG levels in urine are an early indication of renal disease and can be regarded as a valuable renal monitoring marker in disorders such as nephritic syndrome, glomerulonephritis, drug abuse associated nephrotoxicity, diabeteses-associated nephropathy, hypertension and urinary tract infections[1,2] .
