Reagents for In Vitro automated quantitative measurement of the activity of the enzyme Triacylglycerol Lipase (EC 3.1.1.3), in samples of human serum or plasma from the general patient population. Measurements of Lipase are intended to be used by licensed physicians, along with other in vitro and in vivo tests and physical examination, as an aid in the differential diagnosis and evaluation of abdominal pain. (EC 2.6.1.1) This product has been packed for use with Diatron Pictus® P700/P500 or Medicon MEDILYZER® F/BX automated analyzers. For in vitro diagnostic use only by trained laboratory professionals.
