Single Durham Offset Kolbel Blade Short. Part of Durham Offset Kolbel Shoulder Retractor (#T1030). Designed for retraction of the deltoid and under the short head of the biceps muscle to expose the shoulder, the longer offset blades are useful in patients with large muscles, and the shorter offset blades are useful in smaller elderly patients. Snap-in, freely pivoting smooth curved blades help to concentrate the forces on the center of the muscle bellies, allowing the retractor to remain centered and not get in the way of exposure.
