Additional Description
This product is suitable for qualitative detection of Synthetic marijuana (K2) in human urine samples. Synthetic marijuana (K2) is a psychoactive designer drug derived from natural herbs sprayed with synthetic chemicals that is said to mimic the effects of marijuana when consumed, most notably under the K2 and Spice brands. Synthetic marijuana (K2) acts on the body in a similar way to cannabinoids, such as THC, that are naturally found in marijuana. A large number of complex synthetic marijuana (K2), most commonly cannabinodicyclohexanol, JWH-018, JWH-073 or HU-210, attempt to avoid laws that make marijuana illegal and make synthetic marijuana(K2) a designer drug, although synthetic marijuana(K2) does not produce positive results in marijuana drug tests and it is possible to detect its metabolites in human urine samples. Many European countries have made synthetic cannabinoids, which are found in synthetic marijuana products, illegal. On November 24, 2010, the DRUG Enforcement Administration announced that it would use emergency powers to ban many synthetic cannabinoids within a month. As of March 1, 2011, five cannabinoids, JWH-018, JWH-073, CP-47,497, JWH-200 and cannabinoid cyclohexanol, were illegal in the United States. The test results of this product are for clinical reference only, and cannot be used solely as the basis for confirming or excluding cases. For further confirmation and evaluation of urine samples, detection should be carried out using more sensitive and specific detection methods, such as Gas Chromatography-Mass Spectrometer (GC-MS), High Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC), etc.
