The Sentosa SX101 is an automated sample preparation instrument equipped with liquid handling, heating and shaking functions designed to be used together with other nucleic acid extraction kits / reagents from Vela Diagnostics for purification and concentrating DNA or RNA from biological materials in the clinical diagnostics laboratory, preparing samples for further downstream processes, such as nucleic acid sequencing on the Sentosa SQ301 instrument or polymerase-chain reaction on real-time PCR cyclers such as the Rotor-Gene Q MDx 5plex HRM / Sentosa SA201 instrument, together with the relevant Vela Diagnostics assay products. The Sentosa SX101 is intended for use by laboratory professional trained in laboratory techniques, procedures, and on use of the system.
