Breathment is a digital application based on the scientifically founded concept of pulmonary rehabilitation. Breathment combines different approaches that have proven to be particularly effective together. Breathment's therapy program consists of four different elements: Movement: Stretch and strength exercises tailored to patients' abilities and needs, with varying levels of difficulty. Knowledge: Interactive knowledge sessions with tips and tricks for managing COPD disease well. Relaxation and breathing techniques: exercises that help control breathing and better manage shortness of breath Collection of activity(via the mobile device in the format of the daily step count), self-evaluation, and training performance data. Therapy starts after an onboarding interview with a physiotherapist to assess the physical fitness of the patient. The responsible physiotherapist creates an individual training plan only depending on the patient's statements and the given diagnosis of the responsible doctor.
