It is used for temporary fixation of proximal tibia and distal femur fractures, nonunion, malunion, pseudoarthrosis, osteotomies, especially for fixation of open fractures, and for distraction and compression in the fracture area. Multi-plane fixation is possible with the hybrid fixator.
