Designed to straddle the cruciate ligament and lie in the femoral condylar notch, allowing the surgeon to retract the tibia away from the femur for better access. The handle is contoured away from the surgeon's field of view. The OrthoLucent™ Standard PCL can be safely used to look behind the knee when the component(s) are in place without metal transfer or marring component surfaces when contact is made. It is made of a strong, lightweight carbon fiber PEEK composite material, which is completely radiolucent, and can be steam sterilized.
