The Medanets solution is used to complement the hospital’s Electronic Patient Record by providing a mobile platform for healthcare personnel to view and input patient information like clinical observations and medication. It also provides maintenance of care activities and early warning score calculation with corresponding instructions defined by the specialist physician of the treatment unit. External medical devices providing clinical data can be connected to the solution. The solution also provides secure patient contextual and non-contextual communication streams. Examples of clinical information viewed is patient demographics, identifiers, allergies, diagnosis, resuscitation status and infection information, clinical observations like blood pressure, pulse, respiratory rate, temperature, early warning scores, fluid balance, glucose and laboratory results, care activities, medicines record and nursing documentation.
