Additional Description
This kit is used for in vitro quantitative detection of B-type natriuretic peptide (BNP) in human serum, plasma or whole blood samples. BNP consists of 32 amino acids containing 17 amino acid ring structures and plasma BNP is from the heart chamber, so BNP is considered a specific index of ventricular dysfunction. BNP release is directly related to ventricular volume dilation and ventricular pressure load. It can be used as an independent judgment criterion for left ventricular end-diastolic pressure and is related to NYHA grading.
