Hydrogel dressing may be used in the treatment of chronic and acute wounds including pressure ulcers, leg ulcers, diabetic foot ulcers, superficial burns, surgical wounds, superficial wound like cut, crack or friction wound etc. Amorphous hydrogel dressing is of particular value in the treatment of dry, sloughy or necrotic wounds, promoting rapid debridement by facilitating rehydration and autolysis of dead tissue.
