This kit is used for in vitro quantitative detection of thrombomodulin (TM) in human plasma samples. Thrombomodulin (TM), as a glycoprotein with anticoagulant activity on the surface of endothelial cells, is not only an important anticoagulant cofactor, but also a molecular marker reflecting the injury of vascular endothelial cells. By binding to thrombin, TM activates protein C to exert anticoagulant effect. TM can also exert fibrinolytic inhibition by activating pro-PCPB in blood vessels. The expression of TM mRA in tissues and the change of TM concentration in plasma can also be used as a prognostic indicator of tumor and a sensitive indicator of atherosclerosis,RDS and other disease changes.
