ChitoCell original is an oxidized regenerated cellulosic pad with broad antibacterial profile. It is indicated in surgical procedures as a hemostatic pad to stop capillary, venous, and small arterial hemorrhages. ChitoCell absorbs blood and gently swells into a gelatinous mass which aids in the formation of clot.
