This kit is used for in vitro quantitative detection of prolactin (PRL) in human serum and (or) plasma. Prolactin (PRL) is a kind of single polypeptide consisting of 198 amino acids containing 3 interchain disulfide bonds and whose molecular weight is about 22500 Dalton. It is secreted by pro cells of pituitary gland and is an essential condition for normal development of breasts and women's lactation period. PRL concentration can be tested to diagnosis of anovulation in the menstrual period, prolactin amenorrhea and galactorrhea, men's breast macroplasia and azoospermia, and for auxiliary diagnosis of breast cancer and pituitary tumor.
