This kit is intended for in vitro quantitative detection of creatine kinase-MB (CK-MB) in human serum. CK-MB is composed of CK-M and CK-B subunit. Anti CK-M antibody completely inhibited the CK-MM (the main activity part of the creatine kinase) and the CK-M subunit activity. Then the activity detection of CK is the activity of CK-B, equivalent to the half activity of CK-MB. So the result is multiplied by 2, as the activity of CK-MB.
