The Cordis Angiographic Needles are offered in three different gauges (18G, 19G & 20G) and two configurations: the one-piece needle and the two-piece needle (needle + stylet). The stainless-steel cannula of the one-piece needle has one primary and two secondary bevels at the tip, designed for tissue penetration. The needle tip of the two-piece needle is straight, with bevel features on the detachable stylet. The proximal end of both the one-piece and two-piece needle has a clear polycarbonate hub that includes a slot for a detachable polypropylene wing. The wing provides support during insertion and retraction of the needle.
